# Veriff

> Connect Veriff to Rulebase with an API key, shared secret, and integration base URL.

Connect Veriff to Rulebase with credentials from your Veriff workspace.

## Prerequisites

* You need a Veriff API key, shared secret, and base URL from the same Veriff integration.
* You need the Administrator role or permission to manage integrations in Rulebase.

## Find your Veriff credentials

1. Sign in to Veriff.
2. Go to **Workspace** > **All integrations**.
3. Open the integration you want Rulebase to use.
4. Open **API keys**.
5. Copy the **API key**, **Shared secret**, and **Base URL**.

Keep the API key and shared secret private. Rulebase encrypts both values before storing them.

## Connect Veriff in Rulebase

1. Log in to your [Rulebase dashboard](https://app.rulebase.co).
2. Go to **Settings** > **Connections**.
3. Find **Veriff** under **Risk and compliance**.
4. Click **Add connection**.
5. Enter the **API key**, **Shared secret**, and **Base URL**.
6. Click **Connect**.

The base URL must use HTTPS and cannot contain embedded credentials, query parameters, or a URL fragment.

## Update your credentials

To rotate the credentials, create or retrieve the replacement values in Veriff, then submit them again from **Settings** > **Connections**. Rulebase replaces the stored Veriff credentials for your organization.
