Prerequisites
- You must be an Intercom admin to complete the installation.
- You must have the Administrator role in Rulebase.
Installation
Step 1: connect Intercom
- Log in to your Rulebase dashboard
- Go to Settings > Integrations
- Find Intercom in the list and click Add
- Sign in with your Intercom admin credentials in the popup
- Authorize Rulebase to access your Intercom workspace
What gets synced
Once connected, Rulebase starts syncing:- Conversations and tickets across all your inboxes
- Teammates as Rulebase employees, so QA scores and feedback can be attributed to the agent who handled each conversation
- Teams as Rulebase groups, so scorecards and routing rules can be scoped to a specific team
- Contacts and companies to enrich customer and company records
- Conversation custom attributes as Rulebase conversation fields, so they can be used in scorecard rules and filters
Next steps
- New conversations are picked up in real time. Historical conversations are backfilled in the background after the initial connect.
