Connect Intercom to Rulebase via OAuth2 to evaluate the conversations and tickets your team handles in Intercom.

Prerequisites

  • You must be an Intercom admin to complete the installation.
  • You must have the Administrator role in Rulebase.

Installation

Step 1: connect Intercom

  1. Log in to your Rulebase dashboard
  2. Go to Settings > Integrations
  3. Find Intercom in the list and click Add
  4. Sign in with your Intercom admin credentials in the popup
  5. Authorize Rulebase to access your Intercom workspace

What gets synced

Once connected, Rulebase starts syncing:
  • Conversations and tickets across all your inboxes
  • Teammates as Rulebase employees, so QA scores and feedback can be attributed to the agent who handled each conversation
  • Teams as Rulebase groups, so scorecards and routing rules can be scoped to a specific team
  • Contacts and companies to enrich customer and company records
  • Conversation custom attributes as Rulebase conversation fields, so they can be used in scorecard rules and filters

Next steps

  • New conversations are picked up in real time. Historical conversations are backfilled in the background after the initial connect.
