Connect Slack to Rulebase to send Rulebase notifications to a Slack channel.

Prerequisites

  • You must be allowed to install apps in your Slack workspace.
  • You must have the Administrator role in Rulebase.

Step 1: connect Slack

  1. Log in to your Rulebase dashboard
  2. Go to Settings > Integrations
  3. Find Slack in the list and click Add
  4. Select the Slack workspace and channel Rulebase should use
  5. Authorize Rulebase to access your Slack workspace

What gets connected

Rulebase stores the Slack workspace and incoming webhook for the channel you approved. Rulebase uses that channel for notifications configured in Rulebase.

Next steps

  • Configure the Rulebase workflows or routing rules that should post to Slack.
  • If you need notifications in another channel, add another Slack connection from Settings > Integrations.
